Multi-Purpose Building

This Multi-purpose Building has glulam arches that continued outside of the building to a concrete abutment.  Without a sheet metal covering to protect the wood beams, the glulam beams eventually developed some dry rot that compromised the entire structure.  Instead of removing entire beams, Duke Pacific, Inc. shored the beams and removed individual bad sections and replaced these sections with new wood.  This was a tedious process, but we were able to save the entire building as replacing multiple beams would not have been feasible.
